Bulk Billing

All doctors will Bulk Bill the Following: (except on Saturdays and public holidays as clinics are fully private)

  • Children under the age of 16 years

  • Veterans Affairs card holders

  • Age Pensioners over 65

  • Health assessments

  • Care plans and care plan reviews

Discounted fees will apply for:

  • Health Care Card Holders

  • UOW Students/undergrad & international students

    • Average Consultation: $76.40

    • Medicare Rebate - $41.40

    • Out of pocket - $35

    WE ASK THAT FEES ARE PAID ON THE DAY.

    Payment can be made by EFTPOS, Credit Cards. We can put the Medicare rebate back onto your EFTPOS card or into your bank account to save you going to Medicare to claim. If, however, payment presents any problem, please talk to us.

  • Saturdays and Public Holidays are fully private and out of pocket fees apply to everyone. Please check with reception for further details.

  • Our practice is committed to preventative care. We will seek your permission to be included on our reminder system, an SMS message will be sent to you offering you preventative health care services appropriate to your care. If you do not wish to participate please let your Doctor or the receptionist know.

  • With the introduction of telehealth consults it is now easy to make an appointment for phone consult if you have seen the doctor face to face within the last 12 months, this way you can speak to a doctor that day at a specified time.

  • Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain the security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.

  • Your Doctor will advise you when your results are expected back at the practice. Call the practice and speak to the Reception staff to find out if your results have arrived then make an appointment to see the Doctor for follow-up care. You will get an SMS via hotdoc if the doctor has indicated he wishes to discuss your results with you once they have returned.

  • As a regular patient of the practice, if you require a home visit, please discuss this with the receptionist who will pass this onto your doctor to organise.

  • If you require urgent medical attention after the practice is closed, ring 000 for an ambulance or call the radio doctor on 4228 5522.

  • We are keen to know if you are unhappy with any aspect of care you have received. Please feel free to talk to your doctor, management or put your comments in the suggestion box at Reception.
